Northwinds Woodwind Quintet McIntyre Hall Presents Sunday, April 7 2:00pm Doors Open At 2om

Tickets: General Admission $25 4 Chamber Music Concert Series Subscription $80 Light appetizers and refreshments are included in the ticket price. Drinks are available for purchase at the bar.

Northwinds was formed in 2020 out of a common love of playing and sharing chamber music. The experienced and accomplished musicians of the woodwind quintet are as diverse as the instruments they play. Among them you will find an avid birder and mycologist, an accountant who claims to be retired, a former lawyer turned tennis club owner, and two music teachers who find their joy in singing and playing music with youngsters. All play in Skagit Symphony as well as various other local ensembles.

Together, Northwinds has an ever-expanding and diverse repertoire that draws on various genres, from arrangements of 17th century dances through works by 21st century composers--including local composer, arranger, and clarinetist, Barry Ulman.

The membersof the Quintet are Beverly Dooley, flute; Ken Bronstein, oboe; Barry Ulman, clarinet; Jackson Stewart-DeBelly, bassoon; and Doug Robertson, horn.

Joining in the program are Michael Wheatley, violin, and Barb Hunter, cello ~ the CINCINNATUS DUO.

The intimate Chamber Music concert takes place in the Studio Space at McIntyre Hall. Patrons are encouraged to enjoy refreshments during the concert.
