The Skagit Symphony’s third evening concert will begin with a beloved friend in the form of a newly commissioned work for the Skagit Symphony's 40th Anniversary Season by Roupen Shakarian. This night of unforgettable people and music will continue with three tales from A Thousand and One Arabian Nights as set to music in Ravel’s Schéhérazade, and brought to life for us by the soaring voice of soprano Laura Corina Sanders. The evening will conclude with Elgar’s unforgettable musical impressions of all those most beloved to him in his Enigma Variations.
