Travel through time with the Skagit Symphony as we treat you to a millennium of music. You’ll witness a heartfelt moment between composer Richard Wagner and his wife Cosima on Christmas morning in 1879, followed by a scene of love’s longing in a frozen northern castle from Samuel Barber’s opera Vanessa, and then tread icy paths alongside Vivaldi with his Winter of 1717. Finally, we’ll warm your heart with popular and traditional holiday music with the Skagit Symphony Chorus, returning you home again in a festive mood.
