The Skagit Symphony’s 40th Anniversary Season begins with three orchestral impressions of highlands. You’ll be transported to the Orkney Islands to crash a rustic wedding, followed by a Scottish Fantasy with our guest artist from the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, violinist Elisa Barston. Turning south, our new Music Director’s inaugural concert ends with themes inspired by the Italian Alps in the monumental second symphony of Jean Sibelius.
Pre-concert lecture in the concert hall at 6:45 pm.
