FREE SVC Student Tickets available at the Box Office in advance or at the Philip Tarro Theater day of show.

Gilbert and Sullivan’s jazzed-up score is set in a hilarious topsy-turvy 1920’s juke joint with gangsters, flappers, bootleggers, and jitterbug dancers. In a joint where comedy is king and jazz, the blues, and gospel are spoken fluently, the head gangster, the Mikado, creates outlandish laws sentencing people to death for any indiscretion. The life and death stakes are woven into the fabric of dance, comedy, and beautiful music.
