Mr. Patel, academic, activist and author of Stuffed and Starved - Markets, Power and the Hidden Battle for the World Food System, will speak about what is being done in many parts of the word to address the inefficiencies and injustices in the world food system, with a focus on more sustainable ways of feeding ourselves and the rest of the world.



Presented by Skagit Valley College's International Programs Office, the International Dinner has become one of the most popular annual events in our community. Dinner will feature global cuisine with ingredients from local growers, and entertainment by and conversations with SVC's International students. Our GlobalFest Keynote Speaker, Raj Patel will also be joining us for dinner. Seating is limited, so buy your tickets early!
